An evocative album that weaves together the story of a young man lost in life and unjustly accused of crimes he did not commit and the parallel struggles of the artist Proz Taylor. As the album, unfolds, it takes listener on a journey through the unforgiving landscapes of the American South, where a solitary man rides through the hills and faces a relentless pursuit of the law, various enemies, his vices, and heartbreak, all while being painted as a villain by the suspicious townsfolk.

Each track in “Beautiful and Doomed” serves as a page in the main character’s story, painting scenes of treacherous chases, showdowns at high noon, encounters with various love interests, and the emotional turmoil of being condemned by the public.

The album’s thematic depth is further enriched by the parallels drawn between the protagonist’s plight and the real-life experiences of Proz Taylor. Much like the album’s protagonist, Taylor is no stranger to being misunderstood, misrepresented, and vilified for living life on his own terms. “Beautiful and Doomed” serves as an artistic expression of Proz’s own struggles, challenges, and resilience in the face of societal judgments and expectations.
